After last year’s success, the Steak & Vegemite footy pie is BACK last minute, for a good time not a long time.

A Grand Final holiday special, this pie is loaded with organic Aussie steak, veg, a dash of Vegemite for that delicious umami tang and my (not so) secret ingredient - sourdough bread. Trust us, the addition of sourdough bread to a pie soaks up all that juicy pie filling and elevates the taste to something deserving of a Brownlow. Covered in a generous lashing of flaky shortcrust pastry with St David's Dairy cultured butter, this pie is so ridiculously yum, you'll be wanting to tackle your mates and take it all for yourself at the Grand Final BBQ.

Serves a very generous 2 people, or 3-4 with some funky sides. Pick up Fitzroy North on Saturday 27 September morning (but it will come snap frozen, so can be enjoyed at any other time you please too).
